I was riding Anke, a 17 year old Dutch Friesian mare, 5 times a week until she torn a ligament in her right shoulder. She was not able to run anymore. The vet gave her injections and she had to rest. A love of animals from a very young age led me to a vocation as a thoroughbred horse breeder and licensed racehorse trainer. I have had pets and many equine athletes in my care. The care of newborn foals, young horses in training, racehorses, as well as broodmares and stallions has been my responsibility. My experiences with traditional approaches were frustrating.
